Hensley Ministries

Hensley Ministries is a a non-profit 501(c)(3)  evangelistic organization that desires to deliver to any individual, organization, or group, the life changing truth that is found in the new covenant contained in what is called the Bible.

First and formost one cannot think he or she is defined by the present state of their being unless they have heard the word and have failed to act upon it. Today is the day of salvation. Today, if you will listen and act upon what you hear, you will create a new definition of your being and stand upon firm ground ready to unveal the vision the Lord has for you.

If you were handed a card so that you might visit this site, here you are! It is my desire that this site will convey a clear understanding of who Jesus really is and not what He is thought to be or what others would like you to believe Him to be due to their denominational upbringing.

Here at this site, I will be very up front and to the point about the Lord that I serve. This is what I believe, what I know through years of study and several times picking myself up after falling flat upon my face.

This site lacks some of the bells and whistles of many sites on the internet, but my desire is not to deliver eye candy to you but rather spiritual truth that can shake the foundation of your life and successfully lift you into a new living experience that will bring you spiritual, physical, emotional, social, and financial success. All five in balance equal peace (shalowm). So, what is your peace?

If you found yourself in Israel you would eventually be asked Mah Shlomcha? (mah sh-lohm-chah)* Resimbling the American 'How are you?', yet questioning more toward your state of being. Have you asked yourself about your state of being? And would you give a truthful answer to one that would inquire of you?

What is peace?

Do you have peace?

Does peace mean that you will not have

STRESS?

These are questions that need to be answered in our lives as we profess Christianity. If you see yourself as a Christian, then by what means do you arrive at that idenity? Simply because you profess it or because you are actually an Anointed One?

Every day we as Christians fight to walk out that Christianity that we profess. We all have weaknesses and faults that we desire to overcome. The important thing to always remember is that we must bring to light our weaknesses and not hide them. For when we are weak, He is strong.

The world seeks out those weaknesses to manipulate them and to profit from them. But it is our Lord who will get glory from them from which He will allow us to arrive standing in faith.

We are 'the foolish things' and 'the weak things' of this world that surrender and give glory to our God for making us stand.

1Cr 1:26 Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth.

1Cr 1:27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.

1Cr 1:28 He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things–and the things that are not–to nullify the things that are,

1Cr 1:29 so that no one may boast before him.

1Cr 1:30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God–that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.

1Cr 1:31 Therefore, as it is written: “Let him who boasts boast in the Lord.”

Today, if you will accept it,
is the day of salvation.
Nothing is so damning than to think
that what you did with God yesterday
carries into today.
Each and every morning we awake
toward God or toward ourselves.
Scripture says -

"See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful,
unbelieving heart that turns away
from the living God.
But encourage one another daily,
as long as it is called Today,
so that none of you may be hardened
by sin's deceitfulness."

"We have come to share in Christ
if we hold firmly
till the end
the confidence we had at first."

"As has just been said:

'Today, if you hear his voice,

do not harden your hearts

as you did in the rebellion.' "

The day that is set before you,
must start in prayer!
Take time to talk to God -
about anything and everything.

Do not cry to Him about situations
and or circumstances.
The old testiment is filled
with examples of that.

If you are a Christian,
you are under a new covenant.
Under this covenant,
you have rights.

You have the right to -
live in peace,
live a healthy life,
live in prosperity,
live with a mind free
from fear and worry.

This is why we are
individuals and assemblies,
that worship and are thankful
to the Living God we call -
Father.

Hello,

This is Michael Hensley and I developed this site so that I may share with you my insight and expereince in what is called the Scriptures. It is there that I started and from them (the Scriptures) I accepted the call that was laid upon my heart to fellowship with the living God described therein.

I understand, but do not ascribe to the religious norm commonly known in America. There are several key truths written in Scripture that I hold to dearly so that I myself do not slip from the calling that my Heavenly Father has laid upon my life to proclaim His word as a man that would sling seed out from his hand and continue to do the fundamental steps to receive his harvest.

We all need each other in this life. There is no such thing as Christianity without the assembly of the saints on a regular basis. Without accountability towards one another (a tool that God uses within the body of believers), the enemy sets out to pollute the mind toward anti social mannerisms that resist the truth and create schisms (divisions) within a body of believers.

There are many houses of faith throughout America that are home to good law abiding citizens. It is not the members who go to worship in these houses of faith that I do not agree with in certian areas of belief; for many are members blindly. It is their doctrines that do not reveal God, but rather theology (The rational and systematic study of religion and its influences and of the nature of religious truth).

If you believe in 'The Chair', then preach 'the Chair' and all the attributes that surround 'The Chair'. Sit in that 'Chair' and invite others to sit in 'It' as well. And if there were a book written about that 'Chair', then read it and accept what is written of  'The Chair'. But if you do not agree with the writings, and believe in 'Another Chair'; reframe from trying to associate 'Another Chair' for 'The Chair.

Now that sounds very silly, but that is how simple of an approach one needs to take toward the Bible.

Jesus is not hard to understand. People make Him hard to understand because they are talking when His words will do.

Theology is not needed in introducing Jesus to one in sin. Love is needed! The Holy Spirit can use fewer words to convict the heart of someone.

Our view of individual freedom would not coexist with those of biblical times. Individual freedom that is found in the Messiah is laden with power that produces fruit. It is not about 'you' when you as an individual surrenders the call of the Messiah. Your perspective changes toward the Kingdom of God. Faith is active and eternal.

Tired of your lot in this life? Then obtain a differant life, one that is in the Messiah.

How?

"You must be born again"

- Jesus

How would one go about being born again?

What must you do to be born again.

If you will read, listen, and view, the materials that are on this site; you will meet the living God that will transform your circumstances, situations, emotional stability, identity, (all that you would call your life) into the life that truly was created for you. That is a promise that I give you. But! You must continue to read your personal Scriptures and take notes and underline and highlight and wipe the tears off the pages and read them again and pray (talk out to the Lord). Work Out Your Salvation - with understanding of who God is and in a state of expectancy. Then Open your mouth and praise Him! If you cannot speak - then dance! If you cannot move - then make sounds! If you cannot do either, know that He is beside you and that your state of life is know of Him and He will get glory out of your life in the end!

The first and for most step that one must do is repent(turn from). You must step before The Lord God Almighty and repent of the sin that is in you. "This action comes from an act of the Holy Spirit that convicts your heart of sin and presses upon you to confess that sin to God.

You do not need any understanding at this point except that which the Holy Spirit has laid upon you as to your relationship toward God.

There; no one can intervene. This is between you and the One that created you.

It is upon the one sent by God to guide you into spiritual understanding after you have entered the Kingdom of God by repentance. It is at that point that you can mature as you grow in the Lord.

Here, is where Scripture can reveal to you your place and inheritance in the Lord.

The Lord's name in English is Jesus. His office is Messiah which in English is Christ - meaning Anointed One.

This Anointing that was poured upon Him was the Holy Spirit which was given from God upon His baptism from a man named John the baptizer in a land called Judea.

Although this account happened more than two thousand years ago, we (those who proclaim His name and fellowship under that Anointing) read in Scripture (the Bible) that Jesus gave command to His followers at that time that they should wait for the Holy Spirit from on high (Heaven) till they would be endued with power and authority from God. This was to happen after His death, burial and ressurection from the grave.

He promised that He would not leave them comfortless. That He would be with them till the end of this world.

It is clear that He (Jesus) did not only mean those standing there with Him as He spoke. His words are clear! Which are:

Jhn 17:20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,

This Holy Spirit is upon this earth in present time. He (the Comforter, the Gift, the Holy Spirit) has not changed and has not relinquished His power to the believer in any manner of gift that was given to any beliver past nor present. God is no respecter of persons, even in this moder age!

There are denomonations that would refute this and preach that in fact God has changed His plan under the label - dispensation.

They seek out those whom they can bring under their theology. They believe that all men sin even after knowing the Lord. That sin is part of the 'nature' that belongs to mankind. Their theology explains away Scripture and some even are dogmatic about the translation of Scripture which keeps other uneducated individuals and groups (not speaking and/or reading Hebrew and Greek) under fear of being deceived.

Paul stated that it was not of 'letter' but of 'spirit' that one even in the line of geneology was in relationship to God. But yet many argue over the letter and look not unto the spirit of which our God sees.

Jesus now calls for man to return unto God. That calling comes from the Holy Spirit through the Word of God (the Scriptures). That calling comes through individuals that are called to fufill the office inwhich He has called them to walk out upon this earth from trainning in the Word and the right hand of fellowship of other believers.

If you are reading and have questions concerning God. Your first step is repentance!

If you would like to repent in the fellowship of a believer and begin your journey on this earth as a follower of Jesus the Messiah, use the contact link and someone will gladly take your write or call you back.

Scriptures says that faith comes from hearing the word and salvation comes from confessing that Jesus is Lord. (Romans 10:17; Romans 10:9)
